I am a PC gamer, an anime fan, and a dancer. I was trained in classical ballet and non-classical tae kwon do. Nowadays I am obsessed with circus arts and, through a non-related sequence of random events, the Kuchipudi lineage of classical Indian dance. I’m the organizer, chief mover, and general fac totum.
I grew up watching classical ballet re-enact fairy tales. Later, I watched anime music videos take apart and recreate anime and video games. And I thought, why not retell the great stories from anime and games on circus equipment? Surely there’s more we can do with these apparatus than death-defying feats and leotards. So I got together some aerial friends, and that’s what we do.
